How We Help

Hello and Welcome to the Cheltenham Branch of Parkinson’s UK, including Tewkesbury sub-branch. We are the local arm of Parkinson’s UK, a national charity covering the whole country. We are an informal group of local people, the majority of whom are impacted either directly or indirectly by Parkinson’s, living with the condition or with someone who does.

We meet regularly for social coffee mornings at the Norwood Pub in Leckhampton and, additionally, monthly in Cheltenham St Mark’s Methodist Church Hall (Gloucester Rd) to hear from speakers, to catch up on the latest on Parkinson’s research, for occasional outings or simply to support one another. We also organise a variety of other activities including a table tennis club. See more on the what’s on page.

So, please do come and join us. You can use the contact us page to get in touch if you’d like more information or to let us know you’re coming, or simply join us on the day – or head to the what’s on page to find out the date of our next meeting.

Join Us

Joining our branch is very easy. We want to provide a social, relaxed experience to encourage everyone to share their own Parkinson’s story. Yours might be just the one that offers much needed reassurance to a new member or possibly an existing member or carer. A friendly ear awaits!
